A Swift Stop - A Cortex One-Hour, One-Shot Adventure
A downloadable game
I created this for the Gaming by Storm event that the Toronto Area Gamers would run on Saturday at FanExpo Canada 2017. Saturday was always the busiest day, so the goal was to run a one-hour, one-shot so players could come in, play a quick game and be able to try other games in that 4 hour slot we had for the event or go back to the con.
I've since gone back, redrawn my original ship maps, recreated the character sheets in a more consistent style, and written more than "I dunno, improvise" into a document for how the game should be run. I have provided examples for a lot of the different events that can happen, with the freedom for you to use nothing but the barest skeleton and pre-gens if you see fit for you and your players. Feel free to leave feedback about any issues you discover.
Also, Itch said a cover image is required, so, I'm sorry for...that.
